hello there, welcome and thank you for registering to our forum! You can use normal spray paint that you can buy from hardware or paint specialty stores. Make sure that the paint you are buying is compatible to plastic. I recommend Krylon spray paint here are some example of my finished kits with krylon paint buy the one that says "FOR PLASTIC" you can go to this site for some paints www.krylon.com/

Personally i use pylox or RJ london for spray painting then bosny for the top coat .. never had a problem with those so i stick with em :3

I remember using pylox to my tamiya kits and they work really great. Thank you for pointing that out samael. Bad thing we dont have it here in Canada

I don't have a spray kit, do have any tricks for hand painting to be look nice. I try some gundam markers but i find it not even in texture and when i re coat it it just not good it's like it back to the same. it seems that the marker did'nt stick to the plastic kit any idea why?

I try some gundam markers but i find it not even in texture and when i re coat it it just not good it's like it back to the same. it seems that the marker did'nt stick to the plastic kit any idea why? top coats that is not enamel based is not going to react to gundam markers because I believe gundam markers are enamels. in my opinion, do not use top coats when you use gundam markers. * tips for gundam markersome of the markers won't stick to plastic without sanding, especially the white. also make sure to shake it well before using it, If you still see transparent liquid on the ink, you still need to shake it. There is also one method that I always use to make it really clean. press the gundam marker until its ink spilled out then brush it on your kit. here is one product of the hand paint method using gundam marker. you can also use those bottled tamiya paints. and here is one product of it
